Shire HorsesWhat awesome animals.... I have wanted a Shire ever since I got my first reference book on The Breeds of Horses way back when I was 5, mind you looking at this now with my "sensible cap" on I probably should have started with miniature horses seeing as the only horse I have ever owned was a 9hh pony named Laura and that was about 20 years ago and I'm all on 5f 1in... yep a ladder is required to brush these big baby's!!In May of 2007 I was lucky enough to be put on to Bill who was a font of knowledge on Shire's and has been breeding quality shires in Australia for many years. This is where I got my first big baby Wyee Victorine (Tory) and she was worth the wait and $$ spent to finally have my own shire. From there, just a few short months later, Bill put me on to the Wincanton farm in QLD where I purchased another big gal, Wilhemina (Lilly) and now I'm redy for my next big adventure... yep that's right breeding... see my foals page for more information.
